Our specialist veterinarians in cardiology use electrocardiograms to evaluate the electrical activity of the heart and identify abnormalities in heart rhythm. We also perform blood analyses with specific markers for cardiac conditions to obtain detailed information about cardiac function and the state of the animals' hearts.
For a more precise view of cardiac structure and function, we carry out chest X-rays to evaluate the size and shape of the heart, as well as to identify possible abnormalities. We also use echocardiography, an advanced imaging technique that allows us to visualise in real time the structures of the heart, valve function and the efficiency of blood pumping.
